“Generally, a nice atmosphere, but neglected when it comes to hygiene. There is a noticeable smell of dampness and mustin”
The staff were very friendly and accommodating, creating an interesting atmosphere. By our standards, the place was very untidy and dirty.

The location looks even more beautiful in person than in photos, with typical Balinese buildings and an incredible pool. It’s perfectly situated for walking around and exploring Ubud, all while staying quiet. Nothing.

The Sumantra guest house feels like a tiny oasis, with a pristine garden and grounds that are truly beautiful. The reception area and buildings feature intricate carvings that give off an authentic Balinese heritage vibe, and we really enjoyed our stay there. The staff and host were very friendly and accommodating. If you want to be in the heart of Ubud with a short walk to Gotama St, this is the place!
