Multi Hostel Lavapies

I’ve never booked a hostel that’s so awful; I’d never recommend it. The area feels unsafe, even the Uber driver warned me to watch my back. Thieves are everywhere, and the hotel itself isn’t safe either. They charged me extra at checkout for nothing, claiming it was a late check‑out fee, and they even locked my bag in a locker so I had to pay to retrieve it. My original perfume was stolen from the bed and left in the trash. The bathroom had no tissues, so you have to bring your own roll.

The staff were friendly. The cleaning is done, but the whole hotel still smells like urine. The water needs to be rinsed more often when you walk on the tiles, and the bathrooms need a final touch.

The location was great. I wish they could let me leave my luggage without paying; we had to pay for it.

The spot near the metro and restaurants is nice. The receptionist is hit or miss on when they’ll be there. The shower/bathroom lacks a shelf for toiletries. The bathroom light kept turning off because it’s on a timer/motion setting. The window in the room didn’t close all the way, so you could hear everyone passing by all night on that busy street. The locker doors were flimsy and hard to shut.
