The rooms were excellent, though the location, while close to the sights, was a fair distance from the city centre.
The location is perfect for visiting Bangkok’s main temples, and the pool is a nice treat in the late afternoon. The breakfast was excellent and really sets the tone for a Bangkok trip. The price feels a bit high for a Thai restaurant, but that’s understandable given the pool, breakfast, and location. The streets around are dirty and not very pleasant, though there’s no security issue, and you can leave quickly.

The room was very comfortable, and the hotel’s small size meant nothing was far, yet it was large enough that we barely saw other guests except at breakfast. The breakfast was good—though not “amazing” as some claim, it was perfectly nice. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The neighborhood felt a bit sketchy, with many homeless people or others lingering on the sidewalk. A good restaurant nearby was recommended, but once you stepped outside the hotel and walked around, the area had a strong urine smell.
The rooms are very beautiful, the pool is relaxing, and the breakfast is fantastic. Nothing else to add.
