The property is a two‑minute drive from both Villalago and Lake Scanno, the wooden rooms are beautiful, well furnished, and spacious, and the creaks in the beams didn’t bother us; the owner is a genuinely friendly man whose kitchen is delightful, so I highly recommend stopping by for lunch or dinner. Breakfast is decent but can be enhanced by asking for the pastry items at the counter, which are truly exquisite.

This place sits in a strategic spot for exploring the villages around Lake Scanno, the room was pleasant, clean, and fully equipped, the owners were very kind and affable, we also dined at their restaurant, the breakfast was simple but tasty, and I’d recommend it.

A very clean chalet inn in a quiet spot, great short‑range local cuisine, the host Gianni is friendly and helpful, and we’ll definitely return. The only improvement I’d suggest is better presentation of the breakfast, though they do bring their homemade cakes on request, which are a delight.
