Everything was gorgeous – the rooms, the pool, the service and the welcome staff. I couldn't find any downside, so I’d recommend it without hesitation.

The pool was a nice spot to unwind, breakfast was solid, and the host was genuinely friendly. Nothing else to complain about.

We stayed in a private house set in a quiet, upscale area, just a 15‑minute walk from EPFL and about 45 minutes by bus and train from Renens to Lausanne. Francoise, the owner, was helpful with public‑transport tips and restaurant suggestions while mostly keeping to her home office, so we felt completely at home. The garden was lovely, the pool spotless, the bed comfy and the bathroom clean – everything we needed.

The place is tucked away in a peaceful spot, the host is warm and welcoming, and everything is kept very clean. The only drawback is that it’s a bit off the main road.

The house sits in a very quiet residential area and the host was extremely friendly, even leaving fruit in the morning and providing tea and coffee. Parking for both cars and bikes is right in front. The catch is that it isn’t an official EPFL guest house – it’s a private family home offering a single guest room, so there’s no dedicated guest‑house service.
