The location is good, near restaurants, bars, and groceries, and about a 12‑minute walk to the Main Taipei Station. I stayed in a private room that was clean, quiet, and big enough with a good bathroom. The common room and laundry were also available. So far everything has been a good experience. The only downside is that it isn’t a social hostel.

The place is clean, security is solid, and the location is good. The staff are only available for limited hours, so be mindful of luggage drop‑off times. The host will contact you before arrival and can respond in Japanese if you reply in Japanese.

It’s great that Japanese is understood. The location is close to Taipei Station and easy to navigate. Zhongshan and Zhendongji metro stations are within walking distance, so it’s convenient for any destination. The shower and toilet are clean, and the hair dryer is powerful. The lounge is spacious and offers free coffee and tea bags, which I used daily. Luggage was accepted for free on both check‑in and check‑out days, which was very helpful. The only minor issues were that the shower water took a bit to warm up and the server water wasn’t boiling hot; not major problems.

The location was convenient to the train station and restaurants. After they moved me from the attic room—no working A/C—to a lower room with A/C, everything was great. The first couple of nights in the attic were unbearable, no windows or functioning AC, and with three occupants the room was very, very warm. It took the staff several days to react to the broken air conditioner in the attic and move everyone down to new rooms. There was no secure storage for my luggage.
