The backyard garden with a view of the Rio Preguiças is sensational.

The bed and pillows were super comfortable. Breakfast was good. I stayed only one night before heading out for trekking, and the meeting point was very close to the hostel. The outdoor shower was delivering very little water.

The place is in a fantastic spot, right by the river and all the main attractions. The rooms and common areas could use some maintenance, though.
