We stayed at The Cape Kudu Hotel for our honeymoon and had the most delightful time! The staff are incredibly kind, helpful and always available. They really went the extra mile to make sure we had the best possible experience (and they certainly succeeded). We booked a room with a sea view, and it was the best decision ever. The view was breathtaking: a stunning panorama of the bay, dotted with the many little islets so typical of Phang Nga Bay. The sunrise was incredible. The room was very spacious, beautifully decorated and clean. The swimming pool is quite large, with plenty of room for a proper swim. The view is also amazing (same breathtaking panorama as from our room). There is a hornbill nest in a tree right above the swimming pool, making it the perfect spot to see them. The restaurant is delicious, with, once again, a wonderful view over the bay. Overall, the hotel has a truly luxurious, paradise-like atmosphere. They offer plenty activities. Some are complimentary and organized daily, such as island tours (rice fields, fruit plantations, local village, etc.), batik painting demonstrations, and many others. They also offer several guided tours of the bay. We tried the kayaking tour and the three-island boat tour, and both were amazing. The service was excellent, and our guide was very interesting and professional. The island is a perfect base for exploring Phang Nga Bay, with plenty of things to do and see. There are also diving centers for those interested in scuba diving. There is a little shop near the hotel entrance where you can rent a scooter, which is perfect for exploring the island. Finally, there is a huge and nice beach just across from the hotel (and almost everywhere around the island). We will definitly come back!
