Because the train was delayed, I arrived very late, but the staff still welcomed me warmly and answered many questions about hiking and app usage; thank you. I think the room layout was designed to let as many people as possible see the Matterhorn, so it’s a narrow shape like the photos show, and opening the room I was still a bit surprised to see a bathtub. Besides the bathtub, the basement has a warm pool, which is really great. I booked the mountain room, which lets you watch sunrise from the balcony and relax, which I liked a lot. The first floor has a courtyard, and you can also sit there; the courtyard helps block outside noise. Breakfast is, of course, amazing—very delicious, fresh ingredients, and my favorite is the walnut cheese, which is fantastic. The staff also ask what drink to pair, the latte is great and a big cup, I like it. In short, I felt very comfortable and relaxed here; it’s a wonderful place.
