The room was flawless and even larger and better designed than expected; the river view was lovely, especially for a nighttime bath, but be aware that people can see in from the river path. Nothing else, truly exceptional.

The room’s amenities were very user‑friendly and the design was nice, but around 7 am I was startled by a fire announcer; it turned out to be a misunderstanding, not an actual fire.

A fantastic hotel and room on the 4th floor with an elevator, offering a great view of the Kamo River from a quiet, scenic street in Kawaramachi. The breakfast was awesome, the staff were friendly and helpful, and overall nothing could be complained about.
