“Schönes Hotel aber leider mit Ungeziefern”

The hotel sits in a great spot in town, the staff were very nice, breakfast was superb, and everything was within walking distance or a short tuk‑tuk ride. There was no pool, which I knew beforehand, but our room was plagued by many cockroaches that appeared at night in the bathroom, likely drawn by moisture after showers and possibly coming up through the sink drain; closing the drain reduced them, yet 2‑4 large roaches still showed up in the dark, which was quite disgusting. I feel sorry for the hotel because it was otherwise lovely, but I wouldn’t return because of the insects. I’ve stayed in many Southeast Asian shops and know bugs happen, but I’ve never seen so many cockroaches. If they could solve the pest issue, I’d rate it 9.5 (if there were a pool).

A fantastic spot, a real haven of quiet and calm in a very elegant setting; every corner of the hotel is meticulously crafted and pleasing to the eye, letting you truly unwind. The staff were incredibly friendly and pleasant, and the breakfasts were delicious.

“10/10. Exzellent, top. Wir können es sehr weiterempfehlen und würden in jedem Fall wieder hier buchen.”

The property was well maintained and beautiful, with very nice and helpful staff, a lovely room, and a great breakfast. It was centrally located yet quiet—a small oasis. The only issue was that we wished there had been a kettle for tea.
