The price was good, I didn’t want an expensive hotel and the reviews were positive. Overall it’s a fine, purely functional hotel, but it’s not one I’d want to return to. The location disappointed me; it felt like you were outside the city with quite dark streets, and a huge highway runs a short distance from the hotel, which is a dark and unpleasant area where you can’t walk around for fun. A shopping centre is at a reasonable distance, but you really have to use a car, and in a super busy city like Houston that’s not the most enjoyable thing to do. In short, it’s a hotel I wouldn’t book again.
