Atour Music Hotel Hangzhou West Lake

Room was spacious, bed comfortable, shower very roomy, very clean, varied breakfast. You can do the buggy. Nothing to complain about.

Close to the University ZJU, but the room had obvious mold on the ceiling and some walls.

“Good, clean and comfortable hotel”

The hotel was nice enough, with clean and comfortable rooms, and it was very convenient for what we needed. Overall, it was a great stay. Thank you, Atour Hotel. :-) All was good, though it would have been nice to have breakfast included; we did have good local options instead.

The location was fairly convenient for getting to West Lake. The room smelled of an odd “off‑putting” odor – perhaps from floor cleaner or poor ventilation – and the central air‑conditioning was too hot to adjust, so we had to turn it off and open a window. Reception offered to move us the next day, but the replacement was another central‑AC room, so we declined further hassle. On top of that, a friend’s necklace was left at a han‑fu photo shop, sent back via Meituan flash delivery, and the front desk mistakenly threw it away as trash. That was unacceptable; after our friend insisted on retrieving it and refused compensation, another manager helped locate the staff member who handled garbage, and we eventually recovered the necklace through surveillance and property staff. It meant a lot to my friend, and we’re relieved it was found, otherwise the trip would have ended on a sour note.

The transport was convenient and the equipment was complete. The room was dry.
