I had a confirmed reservation. We arrived at the hotel at night, the doors were shut tight, and nobody answered the knock. We argued for half an hour, then the phone said there were no rooms left. We left to find another decent hotel.

When we arrived for the night, no one was at the reception. Calling by phone, a staff member said they had forgotten to check the reservation and had given the rooms to others.
