“A gorgeous and peaceful stay in a wonderful farm house”

This beautiful farmhouse, surrounded by fields and the Cheviots, is a peaceful retreat; Rachael was incredibly accommodating, whipping up superb breakfasts that left us satisfied every day, the bedroom was spacious, clean, and the bed super comfortable, and the quiet surroundings made for great sleep, plus we could stream Netflix on the TV; there are lovely walks right from the doorstep and charming shire horses as neighbors, and honestly, nothing to complain about.

The location was fabulous, surrounded by stunning views. The stay was comfortable, relaxing, and absolutely delightful. There was nothing we didn’t like.

The accommodation was excellent in a very quiet area. Hikes are possible from the house, and nice small villages and towns are easily reachable from there. The host is a gem and provides guests with a varied breakfast. She gladly gives information about the surroundings and even supports you before arrival.

The property was beautifully kept; the bedroom, lounge, and breakfast room were all immaculate and spotlessly clean. The location was a downside.

I was greeted with a flawless welcome, the room was immaculate, breakfast was spot‑on, and the location couldn't be better—nothing to complain about, so I'm already planning to return next year. Highly recommended.
