The hotel works well as a quick stop‑over if you’re heading to the Sanctuary of Aparecida – the bed was comfy, the shower did its job and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast covered the basics and the room was tidy and well‑organized. The only real drawbacks were the dead Wi‑Fi and the fact you have to climb a set of stairs to reach the front desk, which isn’t ideal for big suitcases or anyone with limited mobility.

They took my reservation even though the place was still under construction that day, and ended up leaving my mother stranded. We had to scramble for another hotel, but luckily we found one before it got dark.
