The room was clean, but the host felt a bit too intrusive for our taste. While I can see that some guests might appreciate friendly hints or offers, for us it was a bit much and we would have preferred a bit more restraint. Moreover, our room had no private bathroom and felt more like a guest room for friends or acquaintances rather than a proper accommodation.

The host was super friendly and everything went smoothly. The apartment was beautiful, and we had the entire place to ourselves.

Case Marinella stands out among B&Bs. Set in the stunning northern Italian mountains along the Brembo river, the home delivers everything you expect. From the gracious hosts, Marino & Cinzia, the historic house, the incredible “cave” dining room, the chance to explore the valley, and so much more. It’s easily reachable from Milan in under two hours via highways and regional roads. Nothing else to note.
