The cleanliness was lacking.

There was a musty odor, moisture on the walls and windows, wooden umbrellas damp with moisture, and overall terrible hygiene and cleaning conditions.

The room was nice, but the cleaning was awful and the sheets were dirty.

The location was convenient, but the hotel was poorly maintained, with cleaning and conditions completely opposite to what was advertised.
