Hampton Inn & Suites Buena Park

“Overall great place to stay with good location close to Knotts Berry Farm which was our destination”

We enjoyed a great breakfast and found the staff super friendly. However, our room had some wear and tear, so we pointed it out at checkout, which is what we expect to alert the staff about needed repairs.

“Friendly, clean and comfortable!”

The location was spot‑on for our visit, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The facilities were clean, and the parking lot at night was well lit. Breakfast was good. On the downside, the shower water pressure was weak; we had to spend twice as long rinsing shampoo and soap because of the low flow.

It was great for a family with young kids, and the location was convenient for nearby theme parks.

“Lame, needs improvements”

The staff were not friendly at all, both upon arrival and during the stay. They even put a caution barrier in front of the elevator we were using and watched us as we got off with a stroller and hands full; they could have moved the barrier but instead stared at us as if they didn’t understand that the elevator was still operating. The room was fine, but it definitely needed a microwave and a sink in the main area. The workout area was a disaster: more than half the equipment was broken, 2 of 4 treadmills didn’t work, and there were no bars, straps, or anything to use the weight machine. The pool area lacked lights, and the fire pits weren’t connected to gas. Overall, the workout facility, pool area, and gas pits were problematic, and the staff showed a lack of common sense and friendliness.
