Breakfast was superb, with lovely homemade compote and marmalade. The only niggle was a bit of noise at rush hour on the main road, but the room has fans so you can keep the windows closed.

“A friendly welcome and a lovely stay”

Everything was lovely; Anne could not be more hospitable, she was friendly and helpful. We stayed in a twin room that was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, well equipped, and private—having it a few metres across the landing didn’t matter. Anne served a freshly cooked English breakfast, toast, cereal, and homemade fruit compote. The village is beautiful, quiet, and has good places to eat within a 5‑minute walk. We enjoyed our stay very much and would happily stay again.

The place is solid, breakfast was lovely, the host was engaging – I’d definitely recommend it. Fairford itself is a nice spot to explore, grab a coffee, and wander around.
