Leon, the host, is incredibly friendly and helpful, answering all my questions, suggesting food, tours, and more; I relaxed with morning coffee on the patio, listening to birds, and the venue is just a 10‑minute walk from the quiet beach.

Leon is a genuinely great host—friendly, guiding us on a mangrove walk to the beach, and the shared kitchen and washer make it feel like a shared home; the vibe is super cozy and welcoming. However, during weekends you really have to watch out: loud music is played nearby, which the place can’t control, and I was lucky to stay long enough to also experience the quiet nights with only crickets and frogs from the mangrove; if you were there just over the weekend, the experience would have been very different, so book as far from the village center as possible if you need to sleep before midnight.
