“Highly recommend Asagiriso”

We went to Kinosaki Onsen to soak in the onsen culture. Our traditional Japanese room at Asagiriso was beautiful, spacious, and very clean. In the evening the staff rearranged the room and set out our beds. They explained the various public onsens in town, helped with yukatas and other gear. The hotel is a short walk from the main onsen street, but that wasn’t a problem. They also offered a free shuttle to the station and other onsens. We had booked a kaiseki dinner, but the hotel promptly informed us that they couldn’t provide a vegetarian kaiseki and refunded us. Ayush, one of the staff, was extremely helpful. The only issue was that we couldn’t have a traditional kaiseki dinner because vegetarian options weren’t available.

“Best ryokan experience ever! Their breakfast was delicious!!”

The location was fantastic. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially to foreigners, with English‑speaking members. They also offered a shuttle to the onsen, to the hotel, and back to the station. The in‑house onsen was gorgeous, particularly the first‑floor outdoor pool. They had a variety of yukatas for daily wear. Plus, because it was my birthday and we were celebrating our honeymoon, they gave us a small gift—an unforgettable touch. I’d definitely return! Atmosphere 10/10, Staff 10/10. Nothing to add.

“運が良ければ、１０月末でもコウノトリが見える客室!”

From my room I could see the nest and even spotted a stork—probably the first time this year, since the staff seemed unaware too 😆. One staff member was too perfect, making everyone else seem invisible; I should learn from him.

Unlimited Yakult, a clean room, and a spacious bathroom and washbasin made for a comfortable stay. Nothing to add.
