The room was fantastic and the location was pretty good. The rooftop bar was closed for a private event and we weren’t told about it at check‑in; we were also asked if we wanted to add breakfast, which we did, but I didn’t ask the price and was shocked it was 50 euros per person per day for our stay, the most expensive coffee and yoghurt I’ve ever had.

The hotel was close to the conference centre, but the breakfast service during our four‑night stay at the Hyatt Regency was below my usual Hyatt standards. I usually ate around 9:30 a.m., yet on several mornings the service at that time didn’t meet expectations: clean cutlery and plates were often missing, fresh fruit and eggs weren’t replenished quickly, and when I asked the staff, the response was slow and sometimes unresolved. On one morning I asked for an omelette twice, but it was never served. I understand busy periods can cause delays, but 9:30 a.m. was still within the advertised breakfast window, so I expected the full offering and proper service. I’m sharing this as constructive feedback because the breakfast experience fell short of the Hyatt Regency brand I associate with, and I hope it helps the hotel maintain its high standards.
