Got a call from the hotel the morning of my booking saying I had to pay more. They sent screenshots of the booking app and claimed it was an Argentine rate that somehow applied to me, even though I'm French. I said no, only the amount on the app. They told me to cancel if I didn't want the extra. In the end, I got an email that they couldn't host me. Total mess.

The staff were really attentive and friendly, which was great. But the place is a bit of a trek if you’re walking – it’s a long way from the main spots.
