The beds were comfy and the room was huge, plus they handed out welcome gifts—several drinks, toiletries, a mask—and the staff were very friendly. They offer free airport shuttle to and from the airport, about 25‑30 minutes away, and if you need it outside their usual hours they’ll still run it for a fee, which is handy if you’re just transiting. The bathroom definitely needs a renovation.

The property still uses a key to open the door after 30 years, the parking lot feels like a place for ghost sightings, the surrounding area is dominated by foreign workers and many nearby hotels have closed, making it especially problematic for foreign guests; nobody would choose to stay here after seeing it in person.

The only silver lining was an elderly lady at reception who tried, though not in English, to arrange an airport transfer for me. The hotel claims a shuttle service, even showing it in its main photo, yet none was available. I emailed for details and got no reply. The receptionist promised a transfer the next morning, but a different man told me it wouldn’t happen, leaving me stranded far from convenient bus or train links. Room 306 was in terrible condition: dirty, poorly cleaned, with damaged walls, dust, and a foul odor. The bed was hard, making sleep impossible. The bathroom looked decades old, dirty, smelly, and uncomfortable. There were no facilities for breakfast as described, and during my second night, around 1:30 a.m., a man with a key entered my room, which was terrifying and made me almost call the police. No apology came.
