Despite being close to the highway, the area stayed relatively quiet. The Belmont is a beautiful 3‑star hotel, and while prices have risen in recent years, that’s just a fact, not a complaint. The rooms were lovely and very clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the animal‑theme artwork was gorgeous. The Brasserie, tastefully furnished, offered simple, generous food at honest prices, and the breakfast buffet remains my favorite. The young woman who welcomed us was very kind, which only added to the experience. A small improvement would be to provide electric kettles, tea bags, and coffee pods in the rooms; for a 3‑star establishment, that would be welcome.
