We were greeted warmly by Mr. Fernando and his family, who were very helpful, friendly, and gave us great suggestions. The breakfasts were excellent, featuring fresh fruit and a sea view. Dinner was also a treat, with fresh, flavorful fish. The rooms matched the pictures, the air conditioning worked well, and the water pressure was plenty.

“Thank you for the lovely and welcoming stay.”

This modest lodging sits on one of the world’s most remote islands, Principe, right in the main town and close to the beach. The room was tidy and the AC ran flawlessly. Towels and toiletries were basic, which was expected. Breakfast was simple but good. Wi‑Fi was excellent. The hosts were fantastic, even throwing a small birthday party for one of us (for a fee, of course). They also arranged a full‑day island tour, a boat trip the next day, and airport transfers. The only drawback was a slight language barrier, which is common across the country.

“Un muy buen sitio en San Antonio!”

The staff, cleanliness, and terrace views were great. There was constant light, water, and solid internet. Fernando was always ready to help us feel comfortable. We didn’t get the room we had booked; instead we were offered a smaller one, and the pillows were somewhat uncomfortable, so we didn’t sleep fully well. Everything else was perfect.

The staff are attentive and very helpful, always trying to improve the stay. The place is simple, without luxuries, but comfortably adequate. It offers an excellent view of the bay and is very quiet.
