“Great value for money it felt modern and clean”

The room was lovely; the bathroom could definitely use an upgrade but… The bathroom and the fact there was no restaurant.

“Fine for one night.”

The room was acceptable and the continental breakfast was included. The bed was far too soft, the room smelled of bleach, and the grounds were unkempt.

“It was okay. Served its purpose for a 1 night stay as my son had an appointment at the hospital”

We were fairly close to the spots we needed. A temporary fence blocked the staircase nearest our room, and the plug we had didn’t fit the bathtub—an important reason I picked this room so my kids could bathe. The same plug also didn’t fit the bathroom sink, making it nearly impossible to wash dishes.

“Not happy at all. We literally stayed for 30 mins then packed up our stuff and left to another hotel. Mould and water da”

The room had fresh furniture, but that was all there was. The place felt very run down, gardens were a mess, many facilities were out of service without any notice when I booked, and the kids’ playground was littered with broken timber slats, nails and rubbish.

Location was great, good walking distance to The Strand. Wasn’t told there was renovations happening, couldn’t use the laundry, our room was cleaned and our personal belongings were thrown out
