The location worked, but the room wasn’t very clean, one had water damage and a musty odor, the pool looked unmaintained and had a green tint.

Don’t stay here. I booked for New Year’s Eve, the owner said they were fully booked and I’d need a refund, but they never confirmed the cancellation and I still haven’t received money back. Being left without a room on New Year’s Eve as a solo female traveler was terrible, and I wasn’t the only one treated like that—there were a dozen others.

I didn’t get the room I’d booked; when I arrived there was none available and the staff said the reservation had been cancelled.

The place is great—near the road yet quiet, with a lovely yard view, modern furnishings, and occasional friendly fat cats to pet, plus welcoming staff. The only downside is that the AC sometimes doesn’t cool enough on hot days.
