I had great communication with Pascal, who arranged for Husain the taxi driver to pick us up at the airport; he was there right when we landed, and Pascal met us at the drop‑off point to guide us through the winding streets to the riad. Everything was very well organized. Our room was huge and comfortable, with plenty of space to sit. The bathroom was roomy and we always had hot water. Wi‑Fi was solid. There was also a lovely roof terrace to unwind. Breakfast was fresh and substantial, featuring freshly squeezed orange juice, fruit, pancakes, croissants, and tea or coffee. The riad was a 10‑15 minute walk to the main square, El Fna, but we were always slow to get there because there were fabulous shops along the way. It gets very busy as soon as you reach the souk edge and there’s a lot to buy, but haggle—offer half the price you’re told and work up slowly from there! The only thing that would have made it better is having eggs on the menu from time to time.
