“Stilvoll in einem Schloss mit großem Park und hervorragender Küche; Leben wie Gott in Frankreich!!!!”

We stayed in the Junior Suite at the new castle, which featured a spacious lounge, a large bedroom, and an extra direct exit from the bathroom into the vast, beautiful wooded park. The food was excellent and the location, away from the main roads, was absolutely quiet.

“A nice stopover”

The grounds, restaurant, and bar were lovely, and there was plenty of parking. However, the rooms in the old château felt a bit worn in some respects.

“Two stays were really pleasant, good food and great as a waypoint on the way to Bordeaux or further south.”

The location is lovely, a brilliant stop on a trip with a trailed boat. The pool is huge and clean, and the restaurant is nice. The rooms were clean but feel a bit dated. It would be great if the hotel opened up the adjacent chateau, for example by adding a drawing room, but it seems reserved for weddings.
