The property was conveniently near the town centre with off‑street parking and beautiful, well‑maintained gardens. The room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet, and the breakfast was great—we’d stay again. The owner scolded us for arriving at 9 pm, claiming check‑in is only between 5 and 6:30, which was ridiculous. Two exhausted Canadian women who got there by bus even later were not chastised, thankfully.

This was one of the best places we’ve stayed at. Peter was an exceptional host, available whenever needed yet giving us space, answering any questions about the local area. The room and breakfast were both exceptional, and I felt welcome from the moment we walked in. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay.

A warm welcome and an excellent breakfast made the trip feel good, and the room was easy to reach by car while the city was only a 15‑minute walk away. The room itself was cozy, clean, and comfortable, but the price was too high for August, which is a month to avoid.
