The location is great, close to Caracoles and markets, but although they say breakfast is included, on days when you leave before 7:30 am (everyone does), you miss that meal.
The location is excellent, near the main street of San Pedro. The beds are comfortable and warm, and the shower is great, especially after a day out. Even though the front desk isn’t open 24 hours, we had a key for the room and the main gate, so we could come and go at any time. The front desk is closed most of the day, which can make first access hard if there’s no internet (but sending a message gets a quick response). Rooms on the right side of the corridor can be noisy because the laundry is next to them.
The hostel is very well located, right on a corner with the main street but without its bustle. The street is lined with exchange shops, grocery stores, and restaurants. The room was warm and the bed super comfy. The shower had hot water and good pressure. Breakfast was simple but met basic needs. However, when I showered the whole bathroom got wet.
The place sits in a good spot, but that's about it. I was handed a bed with dirty sheets—hair, nails, sand—and they never changed them. I stayed in a room facing the street, and the noise was awful every night. Breakfast was a mess: no one supervised, and after about half an hour nothing was left. I ended up eating only bread with butter while other guests took full trays of cheese, ham, and eggs, leaving nothing for us. The host was mentioned in other comments, but I never saw or met her.
“Foi minha lua de mel, e eu adorei. Atendimento, recepção, limpeza, conforto… tudo!”
Everything was clean and very comfortable!
