The staff were kind, and although the building felt old, it was cleaned extremely well. The toilet, bath, kitchen, and everything else were kept very clean, giving a comfortable impression. I stayed in a private room, and it was my first time going to a place that could be called a guest house, but in a good way it shattered my previous fixed notions.
“Omi-Maikon paratiisissa”
Nature, lake, mountains, distance from Kyoto, and exploring nearby areas by bike. Friendly staff and a bath and many opportunities for active outdoor activities! Lake Biwa’s Zen‑peace was disturbed by the constant clatter of people drinking on the lake, which kept happening all the time. The moats should be banned in such a nationally significant natural site and better fishing opportunities should be given to fishermen!
It is a huge building with a lot of equipment and facilities. The staff is very nice. There is a restaurant inside with cheap but delicious meals. There is also a sento you can enjoy freely. The soundproofing of the room was poor; other guests were not careful with the room door so we could hear everything.
At this price, you can use the large public bath, and the lounge was relaxed and good.
“妥当な金額だと思う”
The front desk explained the facilities properly! The inn was clean, so it was comfortable! The equipment was really minimal, so it needs to be properly equipped. The station is quite far, so a car is necessary.
