“Gemixte ervaring”

The quietness, the little garden, the bed in the master bedroom, and the air conditioning were definite pluses. The owner also provided dog poop bags, fruit, and water on arrival, which was great. The breakfast was made vegetarian, though I missed a brown bread option instead of white (personal preference). However, there were a lot of cobwebs and spiders that we had to push outside because I couldn't sleep with them above my head, even in the bathroom! The towels were very old, the kitchen utensils were dirty and scattered, the warm water from the kitchen tap was a weak yellowish stream, and washing dishes was a disaster. The fridge kept opening on its own, the front door couldn't be locked, there were no screens so ventilation was impossible, and the second bedroom was locked until we got the key in the evening, which felt odd. I didn't expect this for an 8.8 rating; some improvements are needed, so this constructive feedback may help future guests decide. It's not a complete failure, but it certainly isn't a pass.

Very tidy hosts. Breakfast was delivered in a basket outside the entrance and the fridge was stocked with drinks.
