Teza’s team went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed, with warm greetings, quick responses to requests and tight coordination of our activities and transfers; they even have one of the few, maybe the only, swimming pools on Bantayan Island, which we used a lot. The menu offered a huge variety, raising doubts about whether they can keep every dish at the same high quality, yet the effort to cater to diverse tastes was clear.

I had mixed up hotels in my previous comment – we’ve traveled all over the Philippines – but this hotel was also great; we were the only guests there. The breakfast was good and the staff were very attentive. Everything was wonderful.

The staff were very friendly and the generator kept the power on during outages, so we didn’t notice any interruption in our room (a common issue on the island). The restaurant even cooked a special dish I requested because I was feeling under the weather, and everything turned out fantastic. The only downside was that there were no bottled mineral water available in the restaurant, but when I mentioned the problem they offered to go buy it for me.

It surpassed my expectations: the room was spotless and well organized, and the staff were among the best in Bantayan – I’d recommend them. I just wish the hotel were closer to the beach; that would be perfect.
