We booked without paying a tourist tax, the staff were really friendly, the Uzbek people in our room were lovely, we had to leave early but they didn't charge us for that day; everything was clean and hygienic, and if you ever go to Uzbekistan, especially Samarkand, we recommend the Registan Hotel and they even offered us coffee.

The host was very kind from the start, always available and welcoming, and one morning he even gave us breakfast even though it wasn't included; the location is great, close to Registan Square; highly recommended, especially for value for money.

The place is extremely well located, just a five‑minute walk from Registan, very clean and friendly, the helpful family has a small garden, and there’s a good manti restaurant and bakery nearby. Highly recommended.
