The hotel is clean, classy, and the staff are friendly. However, it’s noisy—thicker windows or better soundproofing would help—especially with the harbour nightlife nearby. I was double‑charged for parking and couldn’t get a refund until the next business day after contacting the hotel. An extra £10 to enter the room early and the deduction of an hour from checkout were unacceptable.

The breakfast selection was fantastic and the room was spotless and excellent. The location overlooks the water, and the staff were very helpful and polite; I’ll definitely return. The car park entrance was narrow and didn’t fit my big car, but otherwise my car felt safe and secure.

The location was brilliant and the reception staff were friendly. The bathroom needed a new strip on the shower door and the limescale had to be cleaned from the frame. I expected a fridge in the room. One lift was out of order during our stay. Breakfast was crowded, so many guests waiting at the same time caused a long wait for a table.

Central Location, good breakfast, rooms are a generous size, mine was quiet. Staff were friendly and there were always enough of them so you didn´t have to wait to be attended. There are only two lifts and one was broken so in peak times this can be an issue although I never felt I was waiting too long despite that
