The people were friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant, which made the stay enjoyable.

The cabin itself is pretty and the surroundings are natural, but the room was a nightmare – a dead mosquito, a bad smell, dust everywhere, and a broken fridge that froze all our food. On top of that, other guests were up until 3 am, so we were exhausted and hungry when we had to hit the 5 am start for the Utopia Aquathlon, doing a 1500 m swim and a 10 km run. I’ll never stay there again and definitely won’t recommend it.

Called the staff at 10:30 pm because the AC remote was missing – they sent someone, but it was the wrong one. After about ten minutes they brought the right remote, which had been stolen. The bathroom was clean and the cabin was close enough to the Lionheart triathlon to be convenient. The furniture and beds look like they’re from the late 70s, with a few spider webs, but the sheets were clean – still, for a cabin it works.

We were excited to step back 50 years into a relic, but the reality was rough: an old mattress with exposed springs and stains, a makeshift bed made of a gray sheet and scraps of old fabric, and a cockroach on the curtain. The bathroom was a mess – a cracked toilet tank leaking into the shower, damp walls, and gray towels that made us think twice about using them. With the price high for such poor quality, we left at dawn after a short night.
