We arrived quite late because of the road closure, but still received a warm welcome and a good meal.

We stayed as a couple during our Stone Man tour for one night at Hotel Weisses Roß. The room was very spacious, the bathroom too. It was all very clean, giving a good feeling. The staff was consistently very friendly. In the evening we dined at the in‑house restaurant, highly recommended! Everything was delicious, beautifully plated, and all at fair prices. The breakfast the next morning left no room for improvement, even offering salmon. Small downside: only filtered coffee was served, no espresso machine for cappuccino or similar. Overall, a very recommendable hotel in a beautiful setting with plenty of sights, not just during Christmas. The room furnishings are a matter of taste and a bit dated; a modernization could help, but everything was clean and in order.
