It was a secure and comfortable option for a Mzungu visiting Maua, with a good size room, good breakfast, pleasant staff, and a walk to the town centre. Don’t depend on the Wi‑Fi, and allow 10‑15 minutes for hot water to come through the shower. No meals were available except breakfast (a thermos of hot water in the evening was helpful).

The staff were genuinely kind, which more than made up for the very basic equipment, and the bed was comfortable with hot water. The lack of equipment was the only downside.

Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück hat super geschmeckt. Wir waren etwas zu spät zum Frühstück. Das war aber nur insofern ein kleines Problem, als das Frühstück frisch zubereitet wird und einige Speisen gekocht/gebraten werden. Von daher benötigt die Küche etwas Vorlauf und man sollte sich auf eine genaue Zeit einigen, die man gut einhalten kann. Die Zimmer waren charmant eingerichtet und das ganze Gebäude war sehr schön und geschmackvoll gestaltet. Hinten raus gab es einen kleinen lauschigen Urwald-Garten. Man konnte auf der Atrium-Terasse oder drinnen sitzen, ob zum Speisen oder zum Trinken. Empfehlenswert!

The rooms ever very clean, and the staff is very professional. The building and design are very beautiful, its a shame the location (other buildings in the area). The pricing wasn't very clear as to the per-person charges vs room charges. Be mindful that the hotel charges are per-head rate that isn't clearly articulated
