The location is very central, and there is a commercial area with many restaurants nearby. Overall, it was fine.
“Great little B&B with some minor inconveniences”
The place is in a lively spot, the room was clean, and it was a safe spot to rest before an early flight. The only problem was check‑in: because this is a B&B and not a hotel, there is no reception, so the check‑in time had to be pre‑arranged. Our agreed meeting time ended up being a bit late (our fault), but there was no flexibility to check in earlier since no staff were available. This isn’t really a critique, as that’s the business model and it’s probably cheaper than a hotel. I didn’t want anything too pricey since we were only sleeping a few hours before a 3 am cab to the airport, but it’s something to keep in mind. The tourist tax must be paid in cash, and it would have helped to know that before arrival instead of hunting for cash machines and then trying to get change when I should have been resting. Aside from those points, it’s a clean and safe place to stay. We booked a room with a private bathroom, but be aware the kitchen area is shared and that isn’t reflected in the room options.

The room was nice, large, and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The room sits above a restaurant, so in the evening we could hear loud noise and a strong, unpleasant smell that seeped through even with the window closed, which was very uncomfortable. The shower could be cleaner, the toilet smells strongly of feces, and the water pressure was miserable. Breakfast is very, very simple, only processed food.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. Communication with the host via WhatsApp was excellent. Because of a flight delay she couldn’t meet us in person, but she sent all the necessary information so we could check in and enjoy the house. The breakfast was good, though it was Italian style. Water pressure drops significantly when other guests use the other bathroom. The breakfast area is in a shared space, which is unpleasant because we risk disturbing other guests.
