We’ve visited Hostel Manaus three times and each visit felt great. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the staff are friendly, and Julio went above and beyond to help us. The rooftop breakfast was lovely, making it a top choice for a stay.

Everything runs smoothly here. There’s always someone at the front desk, so you never have to worry about being locked out. Breakfast is tasty and starts at 6:30. Nothing to complain about.

The breakfast is excellent and the old mansion’s interior décor is pretty cool. However, there’s no curtain separating each bed, the mattress has a deep wear‑hole, and the air conditioning only turns on at 18:00, which is too late for Manaus’ heat; not turning it on earlier makes staying in the room impractical.

I liked the vibe and the connectivity the space offers. The staff are attentive and responsive. The breakfast options ran out quickly and were rarely replenished. The hostel is a noticeable walk from the Teatro Amazonas square, where bars, restaurants and other activities cluster, especially uncomfortable on hot days.
