“Cool ressort near the lake--- in US Motel style with large pool”
The staff were friendly and quick to help, and the indoor pool was a nice touch. The only disappointment was that the room’s fridge wasn’t actually included, which was a bit annoying. Overall, a pleasant stay aside from that missing amenity.
“Sevan is worth seeing, don't allow your experience gets spoiled”
The broken Wi‑Fi forced me to unplug and actually enjoy some offline time, which was a silver lining. Unfortunately, the beds were rock‑hard and the couch far too small for six people, making sleep miserable. We also dealt with frequent water and power cuts, a foul‑smelling bathroom, and the beach was only reachable after bargaining with local Russian staff.
The place might have been nice, but we never got to see that side of it. We booked the morning of our arrival and the staff were busy with a private party, so when we showed up at 7:30 pm in a downpour the room was still dirty, the third bed missing, and we were handed only sheets and a wet rag to clean up ourselves.
The people at the front desk were polite and made us feel welcome, and the homemade meals were tasty and cheap enough for my taste. The pool being open 24 hours was also a plus. On the downside, the room felt cheap for the price – there was no table or proper wardrobe, the armchair was awkward, and the street noise plus bright streetlights kept me up all night. A septic smell in the bathroom for the first few days and some stray hair in the corners didn’t help, so I probably won’t return.
