I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's location, which offered a serene atmosphere that was even better than I had anticipated.
Our room was beautifully decorated with a romantic touch.
The owners were incredibly sweet and accommodating, making my stay truly special.
The breakfast was also incredibly delicious.

The location is outstanding! In the middle of a forest, the arrival was magnificent in full nature. The establishment is sumptuous and beautifully arranged.

The Woodland Lodge at Gisselfeld sits in gorgeous countryside that makes it ideal for peace and relaxation, and the hosts welcomed us warmly from the start. Breakfast was superb—delicious and high‑quality—so overall we had a wonderful stay and will definitely return, though we wished the outdoor lounge had a cozier, softer seating area for coffee.

The owner was extremely kind and attentive, a truly wonderful person I’d love to meet again. It’s a shame I didn’t have time to explore the surroundings, but it’s a warm house in a quiet forest.

The location is very nice and unusual, but the bed is very soft and small for two.

The location right in the middle of the forest is fantastic, a somewhat older (large building) but very clean and very atmospheric. We had the biggest room, more like a suite, with a large and good bed and a separate table and relaxed furniture. Breakfast was charged separately and was very extensive and delicious. The hostess was very approachable for questions and advice. The location is also very central and therefore suitable for exploring the southern half of "Seeland". A limited downside is that the bathrooms (2 available) in our case were shared. On the weekend it was busier, so there could be a waiting time for that. The days after, however, were quiet and no problem. By the way, some available rooms do have a separate sink.
