The room was a decent size with a super cozy bed, had air‑conditioning and an elevator, was close to the metro and the Arc, stayed quiet, and the hot breakfast was excellent.

The staff were very friendly and the location was central, but the “Standard Double Room” description doesn’t reveal that it practically has no daylight! The window in the bedroom looks into a shaft with the building walls just 1 ½ m away on the first floor—a ridiculous situation! You can’t even ventilate properly because the smells from the opposite restaurant kitchen come in.

Clean and new, but the staff couldn’t keep a phone line open even though their website showed three rooms available for the extra night I booked; I paid a non‑refundable fee, they called it overbooked, and no refund was given—24 hours later we’re still waiting.

The hot water stopped, so I couldn’t use the shower or washbasin; the hotel’s response was awful, I couldn’t accept it, and had to book another hotel and move on.
