The hotel sits right next to the salt mine, which is great for exploring. However, the noise was extreme and the room felt a bit dirty, with hair in the bed and bathroom.

Getting the key was smooth, and the previous contact was very friendly and hassle‑free. Unfortunately, there were still a lot of hairs from the previous guest, probably after shaving, on the shower fixtures and in the shower tray.

The location is superb and walking to the city is a nice walk for those who enjoy staying active. We liked the mining festival and the city itself. The experience shaft is close by, but you must book an appointment in advance. Free parking is available right outside the building, and the beds were comfortable and slept well in. The shower had an enormous spray, a rare high water pressure on a trip. The restaurant was unexpectedly closed even though the vacation was supposed to start a week later, and we weren’t told beforehand, so there was no breakfast and the anticipation of food was wasted. In the morning, traffic noise was loud and in the evening new guests caused unrest. It was very hot, so the window had to stay open.

I was welcomed warmly and felt comfortable throughout my stay. The room was clean and well equipped. I especially appreciated the provided dishes, coffee machine, microwave, fridge, and kettle on the hallway. My room faced the street where many trucks drove late at night. Because it was hot and I had to keep the window open to ventilate, it was quite noisy.
