The room was clean. The front desk person was pleasant. Air conditioning was in the room. I didn’t have breakfast because it was too expensive. Friends of friends knocked on other guests’ doors until 10 pm, which was noisy.

The first thing that struck me was how warmly the staff greeted us upon arrival, their smiles were infectious, and the air conditioning in the rooms worked perfectly.

There was no staff present at night to check me in, so I ended up waiting almost an hour outside to use the machine and pay a one‑euro tax.
