“Bel b&b a Siena”

The house is comfortable to reach inside the ZTL zone (maximum half‑hour transit to get in, then you can drop off luggage and get going). Parking is a 10‑minute walk away (it’s not always easy to find because Siena has many free spots). The room is large with a sofa/bed. The bathroom is spacious with ventilation. The air‑conditioning is a mobile “penguin” unit (we didn’t use it). The kitchen area has a fridge and a coffee machine in common. Francesco is very kind and very helpful. The only flaw I can find is that the house is in a busy area, so it’s a little noisy—motorbikes, a bus stop under the house, garbage bins, street cleaning can disturb light sleepers. (At the end of September we left the windows open to let in some fresh air, but there was a bit of noise). With closed windows, it’s definitely better.

The place sits in an unbeatable spot, great for exploring the city center or stepping out beyond the walls. The room was spacious, well‑lit, with a very comfortable bed and a private bathroom. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. When we arrived the room was very clean, but the daily housekeeping didn’t keep up with that initial standard; over the next days the lack of attention to floor cleaning, dust, and bathroom fixtures became more noticeable, which was an unexpected little flaw.

It was fantastic, comfy, clean, and the location was great, and the host was very nice! The only thing that could use a bit more light.

“A due passi dal centro storico”

The central location is a plus, and the room and bathroom are large. The “b&b” label promises bed and breakfast, but we only got the bed—no breakfast. The portable AC is handy but loud. It would be nice to have bidet towels too. The property needs a bit of maintenance.

“Agradable pero mejorable”

The bathroom is quite large and the location is good. The bed is comfortable as well. On entry the apartment smelled like pipes (as if it was closed). Also, the apartment is noisy because it faces a very narrow street that creates that resonance. There were stains on the walls and on the bedspread, giving the impression of poor upkeep.
