It sits in a gorgeous setting and offers plenty of parking. It’s isolated, and the nearest village has few conveniences. There’s no on‑site restaurant and very few outdoor spots to eat—grab some chairs and tables! Breakfast is served in a strange room that feels like a conference centre. Ants were in our room. On the first day we heard a family in the same area as our room doing things in their yard; maybe someone lives there? We weren’t in the main house.

The location and the pool were great. It was a shame the restaurant was closed and we couldn’t pay with Amex; that should have been clarified during booking.
